Introduction: High-Fidelity simulators are considered as costly educational technologies. With a cost-effective view, if this technology can be an effective and profound impact on learners may be considered as a good alternative and complementary option to theoretical and clinical nursing education.  But if the effects of this technology haven’t appropriate depth, it should paid special attention to the advantages and disadvantages of its use in nursing education. This study was conducted to examine the psychological - emotional effects of using simulators in undergraduate nursing education using a systematic review.

Materials and Methods: In order to ensure no duplicate study, search the Cochrane Library databases were conducted. Search strategy was limited to search for English-language studies in the last decade, the years 2002-2015. CINHAL, Cochrane Database and the MEDLINE and journal Clinical Simulation in Nursing were searched. In the last step, Journal of the Society for Simulation in Health Care manually assessed. One hundred and ninety-seven studies were found. According to Inclusion criteria, finally it was selected 10 studies.

Results: Review findings revealed that the use of High-Fidelity simulators can be effective on anxiety, self-confidence or self-efficacy and satisfaction of nursing students.

Conclusion: Psychological – emotional factors due to education can be an important factor in the actively engage of learners and successful outcomes in learning process. So it should pay more attention to this area.
